Hugh Freeze Ole Miss Contract

Hugh Freeze Signs New Contract with Auburn

Former Ole Miss Coach Receives Substantial Package

Details Released by School

Auburn University has announced the signing of a new six-year contract for its head football coach, Hugh Freeze. The contract reportedly pays an annual salary of $6.5 million, for a total value of $39 million over the duration of the deal.

The contract extension follows Freeze's first two seasons at Auburn, during which the team compiled a 12-12 record. The school's athletic director, John Cohen, expressed his satisfaction with Freeze's performance and his commitment to the program's success.

Prior to joining Auburn, Freeze coached at Liberty University for three seasons, leading the Flames to a 25-10 record and two bowl appearances. He also spent five seasons as head coach at Ole Miss, where he compiled a 39-25 record and won an SEC Western Division title in 2015.

Freeze is known for his high-scoring offenses and aggressive recruiting style. He has a history of success at both the college and high school levels, and Auburn fans are hopeful that he can bring similar success to the Tigers.

The contract extension is a significant investment by Auburn University in Freeze and the future of its football program. The school is hoping that Freeze can build upon the foundation he has established and lead the Tigers to sustained success in the SEC and beyond.
