Knicks Lose Nine-Game Winning Streak to Lakers

Brunson Leads Scoring Effort, Knicks Surrender Big Lead

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Jalen Brunson scored 11 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter, but the New York Knicks squandered a big lead and fell 113-105 to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night, ending their nine-game winning streak.

LeBron James Powers Lakers' Comeback

LeBron James led the Lakers' comeback, scoring 23 points in the second half. He finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists. Anthony Davis added 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Dennis Schroder came off the bench to score 21 points.

The Knicks led by 14 points at halftime, but the Lakers outscored them 65-47 in the second half. The Knicks' offense went cold in the fourth quarter, as they made just 4 of 17 shots from the field.

The loss drops the Knicks to 27-15 on the season, while the Lakers improve to 19-23.
