Edmonton, AB - Leon Draisaitl scored his 19th goal of the season in overtime to lift the Edmonton Oilers to a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday night.

The Oilers improved to 11-1-2 in their last 14 home games, while the Canadiens dropped to 1-5-1 in their last seven road games.

Draisaitl's goal came just 1:40 into overtime, as he took a pass from Connor McDavid and fired a wrist shot past Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen.

McDavid and Evan Bouchard also scored for the Oilers, while Cole Caufield and Kirby Dach replied for the Canadiens.
