The 2023 NHL draft is set to take place on Wednesday, June 28th and Thursday, June 29th at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The first round of the draft will be held on Wednesday, with rounds two through seven taking place on Thursday. The Chicago Blackhawks won the 2023 NHL Draft Lottery and will have the No. 1 pick in the draft.

Connor Bedard: The Next Connor McDavid?

Connor Bedard is widely considered to be the best prospect to enter the NHL since Connor McDavid, who was selected No. 1 overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2015 NHL Draft. Bedard is a 5-foot-10, 185-pound center who plays for the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League (WHL). He is a dynamic offensive player with excellent skating and puck-handling skills.
